Privacy Policy
Last updated August 31, 2026.
This policy explains how H&H Technical Services handles personal information submitted through hhtechnical.ca. H&H handles personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Questions or privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
Information collected
The contact form collects your name, email address, organisation, enquiry subject, message, and acknowledgement that the information will be used to reply. Cloudflare also processes network and security information, including IP address and browser signals, to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and operate Turnstile.
How the information is used
Information is used to respond to your enquiry, evaluate whether the requested work is within scope, maintain necessary business correspondence, secure the website, and meet legal obligations. Contact information is not added to a marketing list.
Service providers
- Cloudflare
- Website hosting, content delivery, security, Turnstile, Email Routing, and privacy-oriented Web Analytics.
- Resend
- Delivery of the enquiry to H&H and the automated receipt sent to you.
- The destination mailbox used to receive and retain business correspondence.
These providers process information only as needed to supply their services. H&H does not sell contact-form information.
Analytics and cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to understand aggregate site traffic. It is configured without cookies or cross-site tracking. Turnstile is a separate security service and may evaluate browser and device signals to distinguish people from automated submissions.
Storage outside Canada
Service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other locations where they operate. Information processed outside Canada may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or national-security authorities under the laws of those jurisdictions.
Retention
The website does not write contact-form submissions to an application database. Submissions are delivered by email and retained in the business mailbox only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the enquiry, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. Security and delivery providers may retain limited operational records under their own retention schedules.
Access and correction
You may ask whether H&H holds personal information about you and request access or correction. Send the request from the email address concerned to [email protected]. Identity may need to be verified before information is released or changed. If you are not satisfied with how a privacy request has been handled, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Safeguards
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, including HTTPS, restricted account access, server-side validation, Turnstile verification, and authenticated email delivery. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the site, service providers, or legal obligations change. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
